SUBMISSION
A manuscript should be prepared as described in the Instructions to Authors SUBMITTING MANUSCRIPTS (manuscripts not following the required format may be returned) and checked (see the checklist) thoroughly to make certain that it is complete. The author(s) are responsible for the quality of the language. Poor language, substantial departure from our instructions, and missing or incomplete submission form will result in returning the paper without review.
All submissions must be made electronically by e-mail (see below) and must contain:
- the complete manuscript (the text, tables and figures) as printable unprotected PDF file(s) (a filename should be meaningful and should not be longer than 12 ASCII characters). Lines of the text should be continuously numbered [e.g. in MS Word, please select 'Document' from the 'Format' menu, press 'Layout' and in the next window 'Line numbers ...', then check 'Add line numbering', 'Start at = 1', 'From text = Auto', 'Count by = 1' and select 'Continous'; after pressing OK, lines in your document will be numbered],
- submission form (MSWord document, download from HERE); Submissions lacking completed submission forms will not be processed until properly completed forms are submitted.
To complete submission: click HERE to open your e-mail client, type a short message regrding the submission in the body, attach the files (the mansucript and the submission form) and send the e-mail.
Submitted files should never be compressed. Filenames should not exceed 12 characters (PLEASE DO NOT USE UNICODE). The information normally given in a cover letter can be place in the body of a message.
In print, an article length should NOT exceed 24 pages(if in range 2532 please contact our office) . To evaluate how many journal pages can result from a manuscript, please first remove the tables and pictures from the file and then perform character count (including spaces) [in MS Word: select 'Word Count' from 'Tools' menu], and divide the obtained number by 4600 (max. number of characters on one printed page of our journal). Some pages should be added to the result depending on how many figures and tables are in the manuscript.
Only when accepted, an MS Word (.doc or .rtf) file containing the manuscript (text, tables, captions, appendices) and possibly files with the figures should be sent to us by e-mail or on a CD. The author(s) are responsible for the quality of the language. If English is not your mother tongue, make sure that your text is corrected linguistically. Illustrations will not be returned.
