SUBMISSION
Please note that page charges at a rate of 60 EUR per page apply to monographs and conference/workshop proceedings. If you are ready to accept these charges, before submitting a monograph (or conference/workshop proceedings) to Acta please do the following:
- make sure that it is within the scope of the journal and its length in print will be at least 48 pages (see below for details).
- send us a message (editor[at]sekj.org [cc to sekj.journals[at]gmail.com]) in which all the authors, the title and the abstract of the monograph are given. In addition the number of illustrations, tables and characters (spaces included) should be provided.
- in case of conference/workshop proceedings please provide the conference/workshop title, its general subject(s), and expected number of submitted papers.
Based on the above, we will evaluate suitability of the monograph for publication and inform you about our decission within a few days; if it is positive, you will be provided with detailed instructions regarding submission.
In print, a monograph/proceedings length should within the range of 48–96 pages
(if longer please contact our office) . To evaluate how many journal pages can result from a manuscript, please first remove the tables and pictures from the file and then perform character count (including spaces) [in MS Word: select 'Word Count' from 'Tools' menu], and divide the obtained number by 4600 (max. number of characters on one printed page of our journal). Some pages should be added to the result depending on how many figures and tables are in the manuscript.
